"I was driving my car headed towards Nashville," Jordan stated in an interview with a local TV station. "It had been stormy and rainy and I had been taking extra precaution, I hadn’t been driving very fast. I had just come out of a really bad storm and there was some water on the road. I was in the passing lane going 65 to 68 and hit some water, and lost control — hydroplaned." 

He credited God along with his secure emergence from the vehicle, and said that he used to be thankful now not to have any marks from even the affect of the airbags.  

"I’m a person of great faith. People have different opinions, accidents happen every day and people often can’t walk away. I don’t know why that happens because I’m not God. I’m a person of great faith.. but I Immediately felt peace and I felt that I wasn’t alone in that situation," he stated.
