After serving his 41-month sentence, Joe was transferred to an ICE facility. In October 2019, he requested the court docket to permit him to transfer back to his circle of relatives home in New Jersey while the reliable resolution was once made — but he was turned down.

He also added that he and Teresa are still on good terms despite everything they've been through, adding, "I imply, concentrate, we communicate each day however, we roughly moved on already. Joe is working in construction in the Bahamas, just like he did in New Jersey before his arrest.
"This is what I grew up doing, like construction, rentals, this is what I did in the States,” Joe defined on the podcast. "It’s an easy job. I’m not complaining. I get a salary, and we’re partners for other things that I bring in, like stucco."
