Directory Cynthia Hill instructed Variety that once receiving a message from Stephen by the use of LinkedIn in 2016, she concept to herself, "There must be a story there." By that time, Stephen had already spent years looking to uncover what took place to Jennifer. He wanted a new method to assist her.
