Rollins Gets a Visit From yet Another Old Flame in Season 23 of 'SVU'

Season 23 of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit has taken us on a rollercoaster of feelings during the last weeks. What happened between Rollins and Murphy on ‘Law & Order: SVU’?
Rollins has observed her fair proportion of heartbreak since she joined the display in Season 13. Along with her short-lived romance with Amaro, Rollins had a messy break-up together with her ex-boyfriend and former Gambler’s Anonymous sponsor, Nate.
After their break up, Rollins relapsed and located herself in critical debt at an illegal gambling club where she met Declan. Following their stumble upon, Rollins learned that Declan used to be in reality an secret agent filling in for Lieutenant Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) in her absence.
Still, he chose not to reveal her indiscretions to the higher-ups.

Later, the frenemies become buddies with advantages — that was until Declan was referred to as away for an undercover project. While the two reputedly stated their goodbyes, following his exit, Rollins dropped a bomb on him that prompted his quick go back.
Rollins revealed that Declan is the daddy of her baby in Season 17.
Although Rollins was hesitant to expose that she used to be pregnant with her eldest daughter, Declan heard the scoop in the course of the grapevine while undercover in Serbia. Upon his return to New York, he faced Rollins, who showed that he had fathered Jesse.
Declan offered to step up and co-parent their daughter together, to which Rollins declined. In Season 23, Declan and Rollins reunite for the first time since Season 17.
In an interview with TVLine, Rollins’s on-screen boyfriend, Dominick Carisi actor Peter Scanavino shared what Declan’s return could mean for their relationship. He shared, “You know I feel he’s most certainly pretty protected in the connection because I do think it’s no longer one thing that they’re taking very frivolously.”
“But, , I’ve puzzled. [Rollins and Carisi are] obviously beautiful shut, and I’m with regards to the children in the fictional backstory of what I’ve get a hold of,” he added. “So, I’m positive he totally knows who the daddy is, and that’s one thing that they’ve most likely spoken about. I don’t see how it could be the rest contentious or dramatic, but who knows?”
