Eric André Is Partnering With Drumstick to Bring Us the Weirdest Super Bowl Commercial Yet (EXCLUSIVE)

When we recall to mind sports activities, Eric André may not be the primary one that comes to thoughts, however in 2024, he’s one of the most faces of the Super Bowl. No, he’s not taking part in in the Super Bowl, nor is he taking part in a prank on it (that we all know of). He’s in one of the most unforgettable commercials for Drumstick ice cream.

Eric is known for The Eric André Show, which he’s now traveling, in addition to his Netflix film, Bad Trip. He also recently printed a book on pranking, Dumb Ideas: A Behind-the-Scenes Exposé on Making Pranks and Other Stupid Creative Endeavors, along with his co-author Dan Curry.

Now he’s some of the memorable faces of Super Bowl LVIII. Distractify spoke exclusively with Eric about his enjoy making the commercial, in addition to what else he’s as much as.

Eric is an eccentric guy, which is why people fall in love together with his comedy. He’s unique, he’s funny, and he’s unafraid to toe the comedy line. But right through all his appearances, 2024 is the first year that Eric has ever gave the impression in a Super Bowl commercial. He went from staring at the sport to practically being in it.

Usually, Eric eats “as much meals as conceivable.” He persevered, “I'm a glutton. I'm in reality half-paying attention. It's truly just an excuse to devour rooster wings,” Eric said of the Super Bowl. This is most likely something a lot of his enthusiasts (us included) can relate to.

We’re no longer watching for the real sport! Especially his 12 months, when it’s the Kansas City Chiefs as opposed to the San Francisco 49ers. Is it 2020 again?

As a long way as Eric cares, he’s no longer rooting for either crew. He always roots against the Pats and for the Dolphins. Eric explains that he’s a “massive Dolphins enthusiast” even if he jokingly “thinks the animal is higher than the staff.”

Plus, Eric is partnering with Drumstick as a result of, “Why not?” He loves eating their ice cream, and now they’re paving methods to make the day after the Super Bowl a national vacation with their reputable Change.org petition. In the commercial itself, Eric wishes his Drumstick to get better, similar to we'd like an extra day after celebrating the Super Bowl

Aside from starring in a Super Bowl commercial, Eric is on the street with ‘The Eric André Show.’

Now, Eric is going back to his roots traveling The Eric André Show. “I like touring. Interacting with the fans. It's excellent to have direct fan interplay,” Eric shared. He's been retaining busy during the past few years. Aside from his Adult Swim show, he is been doing numerous voice work. He voiced Luci, Pendergast, and other voices in Netflix's Disenchantment and more recently voiced John Dory in Trolls Band Together.

He's also a panelist on The Prank Panel along Johnny Knoxville and Gabourey Sidibe, even if Eric reportedly hand over a couple of occasions because of Johnny's pranks on Eric. Thanks to a truce, the two labored it out, and they are going to confidently proceed judging pranks in a future possible season. But for now, it is time to revel in Eric's ancient voyage with Dr. Umstick!
