Commenters Rave Over Candy Grapes Recipe

A TikTok recipe for “candy grapes” has commenters gaga, and the recipe couldn’t be more effective. In fact, there are only two components!

Meet the latest superstar of TikTok: grapes. Yep, the vine-grown culmination are getting their moment in the social media spotlight, because of a recent video via TikTok user @courty_lea.

That user — who goes by way of Court on the platform and identifies herself as a cat mom, a coffee lover, a wife, and a foodie — shared a recipe for “candy grapes” in a May 31, 2021 TikTok upload. 

Don’t get bitter grapes, people — simply read on for the instructions!

The recipe for the TikTok candy grapes is foolproof.

“Have you guys ever made candy grapes?” Court asks in the video. “It’s one in all my favorite snacks. I don’t know if that’s what they’re truly known as, but that’s what I name them.”

And the recipe most effective requires two elements, grapes and Jell-O powder. “Get yourself some grapes,” Court says within the video. “I love to use green grapes because they’re no longer tremendous candy. Wash them up, put them in a gallon bag. The water at the grapes goes to help the Jell-O powder stick.”

Sure sufficient, the one hard work concerned is combining up the grapes and the Jell-O powder within the Ziploc bag. “Shake them up actual, actual nice. … Now that they seem like inexperienced olives, they’re good to move within the freezer, and also you’ve were given yourself a perfect little summertime snack. So good.”

But the Jell-O flavor issues, as Court explains. “The retailer handiest had sugar-free strawberry Jell-O powder, so I believed that used to be roughly rude,” she quips in the clip. “My favorite is blue raspberry.”

TikTok commenters are blown away — and sharing their very own permutations.

This frozen treat is not anything new — the Group Recipes website has a 2008 post for “magic grapes” with similar directions — but TikTok users are still inspired with Court’s video.

“Sooooooooo gooooooooood,” one commenter stated.

Another wrote, “Oh my gosh, this is so excellent. However, my arms are all red now.” (Court’s response: “I tried the usage of a fork the opposite day, and it didn’t cross so smartly.”)

And different TikTok customers are sharing diversifications on the theme, with ideas for different powders so as to add to the grapes.

“I do mine with Country Time lemonade powder, then freeze them,” one individual mentioned. “Ice cubes for summer drinks!”

Another wrote, “OMG, the Jolly Rancher [gelatin] powder is superior.”

A 3rd consumer commented, “They’re also just right with Crystal Light packets. Pink Lemonade is awesome.”

And a fourth commenter instructed any other form of dessert combine, writing, “Vanilla pudding works nice, too, and you can upload other fruits.”
