In all of the reboot and '90s nostalgia, one in all our favorite new sequence is Bel-Air, which is a dramatic take on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Based on Morgan Cooper’s short fan movie of the similar name, the Peacock sequence kicked off its 2nd installment in February 2023, reuniting lovers with the cast — together with Jabari Banks, Cassandra Freeman, Adrian Holmes, and Jimmy Akingbola — as well as a few new faces.

Along with Tatyana Ali, who played Ashley in the authentic Fresh Prince, Season 2 welcomed guest stars like Saweetie and Jazlyn Martin.

As the season finale attracts closer, viewers wonder if the collection will return to the small screen subsequent spring. So, what’s the tea on Season 3? Read on for answers!

Has ‘Bel-Air’ been canceled or renewed? Here's what we know about Season 3!

On Friday, March 17, Peacock published that Bel-Air was once renewed, and, to be fair, we’re not stunned. The network shared the good news in an announcement video that features a photograph montage of the solid holding up the number 3.

News of Bel-Air’s renewal comes as no marvel as the sequence has quickly turn into a fan favorite because the series made its debut at the small display screen in 2022. After all, the numbers don't lie. Following the show's premiere, Bel-Air was once Peacock's most-watched original series of 2022.

On the other hand, critics have found that Bel-Air is just a gloomier model of the original collection, they usually haven’t been as impressed with its exploration of race and sophistication dynamics as they were with Fresh Prince. Not handiest that, but Bel-Air has struggled with its justifiable share of behind-the-scenes demanding situations.

Its authentic showrunner, Chris Collins, left a very long time ahead of Season 1 even aired, and then Diane Houston got here on board. She left, and TJ Brady and Rasheed Newson took over as co-showrunners. However, they left because of inventive differences in the way to continue the series, so now in just two seasons, Bel-Air has its fourth showrunner, Carla Banks Waddles.

While critics of the series imagine that there's room for improvement, it doesn't look like the Fresh Prince goes any place anytime quickly.
